In addition to our usual chattings and more QUICK HITS! we have 36 (THIRTY-SIX!) new apprentice leagues in the WFTDA! Lots of ‘em are international even, so Pitchit and international correspondent extraordinaire Nebr’Ass Kick’r chat about ‘em.

Megatron had a unique opportunity to talk with past WFTDA president Grace Killy and brand-new president Alassin Sane about their roles in the organization, the growth of women’s flat track roller derby, WFTDA.tv and much, much more.

The Derby Nerd joins us to talk about all things Eastern Canadian, and it is a lot, including this weekend’s Roller Derby Association of Canada’s Eastern regional tournament, Dames of Thrones.

We’re also joined by skaters from the teams participating in this weekend’s Star of Texas Bowl. If you can’t make it down to Austin in person, follow all the action live on WFTDA.tv.

Ophelia Melons talks to Megatron (popular guy that he is) about a little derby event happening in Las Vegas next week. Y’know, in case you hadn’t heard about it.

In case all of this ain’t enough: Atlanta Rollergirls’ all-star team the Dirty South Derby Girls will host LADD’s Ri-Ettes on the flat track this weekend at Quadzilla! (Where have we heard that name before?) The first ever Men’s European Roller Derby Championships will happen this weekend as well, which means hot man-on-man action with accents.
