Axle Adams makes an amazingly not creepy Santa

One of the most wonderful things during the Holiday Season is to give amazing gifts to the people we care about.

Well, thanks to the generosity of our pal Axle Adams, we are excited to announce that one lucky Derby Deeds listener will get that opportunity!

Axle Adams & Reidell skates have donated a pair of Black 595 Boots to be given away on our Holiday Show, December 23rd…

What we need from you is the skater in your life that needs a new pair of boots!  Craft up an essay, a poem, a power-point presentation, whatever you can think of describing your friend, family member or teammate who deserves a new pair of boots this Christmas.

Shoot it to us in an email at christmasskates@ derbydeeds.com by NOON on Wednesday the 21st, and our entire cast & crew will go through them & pick out our winner.

If you’re lucky, Axle Adams will don his Santa costume, complete with Vibrating Lap™ to deliver the skates himself…  (or not…)

It’s our way of saying Happy Holidays to our friends out there in Listener Town, thanks to Axle Adams & Reidell Skates.

Now for the fine print:

  • Axle Adams is donating a pair of Black 595 Riedell Boots.  Just the boots, no hardware.  That means you’ll need to use your current plates, or get new ones…
  • These are NEW skates, direct from Riedell, in whatever size the winner needs.
  • Please do not nominate yourself.  We’re helping to share the spirit of giving!  =)
  • All entries will be judged by the cast & crew of the Derby Deeds Podcast along with Axle Adams himself.  We’ll take a vote & the entry with the most votes wins.
  • The winning entry will be announced on the Holiday Show which posts on Friday, December 23rd.  (Christmas Eve Eve)
